OUR STORY
We Started With One Goal: Help Families Stand on Their Own

KMJ Foundation Inc was created to improve the lives of children and families living in poverty in Africa, and to help them become productive, self-reliant members of their communities. We began our work in Abia State, in southeastern Nigeria.

In December 2019 we held our first medical outreach in Ekenobizi Umuopara, Umuahia South L.G.A. Since then we have returned with a Bucket of Love distribution in 2023 and a Christmas Eve outreach in 2024, and we continue to grow our programs for women, young people and children.

OUR MISSION

Our vision: to be a haven for children and a foundation that leads the way in building better tomorrows for the generations to come.

Why We Focus on Job Creation
OUR APPROACH
Why We Focus on Job Creation

Aid can meet a need for a day. A skill, a small business or a steady job can support a family for years.

That is why every KMJ program connects to one long-term goal: helping people in Abia State create income for themselves and their families. Medical care and essential supplies keep families healthy and strong enough to work and learn. Micro-loans and skills training give them the means to do it.
